Support Through Grief and Loss

Loss can affect us in ways we don't always expect.

While grief is often associated with the death of a loved one, feelings of loss can also arise following the end of a relationship, changes in health, retirement, moving home, or other significant life changes.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve.

Everyone's experience is unique.

Grief can look different for everyone

You may experience:

  • Sadness

  • Anger

  • Guilt

  • Numbness

  • Anxiety

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Changes in sleep

  • Feeling disconnected from others

Some days may feel manageable, while others may feel unexpectedly difficult.

A space to grieve in your own way

Counselling cannot remove the pain of loss, but it can provide a safe and supportive space where you can express your thoughts and feelings openly.

You don't need to protect others from your emotions or worry about saying the wrong thing.

Together, we can explore your experience of grief at a pace that feels right for you.

There is no timetable for grief

Grief doesn't follow a neat or predictable path.

Whether your loss is recent or happened many years ago, counselling can help you process your experience and make space for both your memories and your future.

Thinking About Counselling?

If you are struggling with grief or loss, you don't have to carry it alone. Counselling can provide a compassionate space where you can talk openly about your experience and receive support.
