Struggling to Believe in Yourself?

Low self-esteem can affect many areas of life. You may find yourself questioning your abilities, comparing yourself to others, or feeling that you're somehow not good enough.

Perhaps you find it difficult to accept compliments, worry about what others think of you, or struggle to recognise your own strengths. Over time, these thoughts can affect your confidence, relationships, and overall wellbeing.

You may recognise some of these experiences:

  • Constant self-criticism

  • Difficulty trusting your own judgement

  • Comparing yourself to others

  • Fear of making mistakes

  • Worrying about what other people think

  • Finding it difficult to say no

  • Feeling "not good enough"

How counselling can help

Counselling provides a supportive space to explore where these feelings may have come from and how they are affecting your life today.

Together, we can look at the beliefs you hold about yourself, explore your experiences with compassion, and help you develop a kinder and more accepting relationship with yourself.

As a Person-Centred Counsellor, I won't tell you who you should be. Instead, I'll support you in understanding yourself more fully and recognising the strengths and qualities that may have become difficult to see.

Building confidence takes time

Confidence isn't about becoming a completely different person.

Often, it's about learning to trust yourself, accept yourself, and feel more comfortable being who you are.

Through counselling, many people discover greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and confidence in their ability to navigate life's challenges.

Thinking About Counselling?

If you're struggling with self-esteem, confidence, or self-doubt, counselling may provide a space to explore these feelings and begin moving towards a more positive relationship with yourself.
